St Saviour’s Church stands by Canterbury Road at the heart of the community. The purpose of the church is to support the life of the surrounding neighbourhoods with action and worship. We want to do this by making sure St Saviour’s Church as a sustainable community asset in East Folkestone able to serve through community transformation.
The Tree of Life is a very important symbol for us. It reminds us that
- God is in control of creation and the seasons of life
- Jesus came to bring us life in all its fullness
- Trees provide homes and food and shelter for so many creatures, they provide us with food and timber and fuel and oxygen
